Dr. Todd Stevenson
Doctor of Chiropractic
Meet Dr. Todd Stevenson (NV #B01096)
Dr. Stevenson grew up in Redding, CA, and moved to Reno in 1996 to attend UNR to pursue a degree in Health Ecology, specifically focused on athletic training. Through the years he grew to consider Reno home, and upon graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose in 2004, he moved back to start his practice. While in school, Dr. Stevenson trained and worked with Dr. Bill Tarr, founder of Peak Performance Chiropractic in Menlo Park, where he became proficient in many of the techniques he uses today.
An avid runner, Dr. Todd enjoys treating athletes in training or recovering from injury. Another passion is helping patients adapt to a sedentary lifestyle, especially while at work, by making changes to their daily routine, implementing exercises, and stretching to reduce the risk of long-term injury.
He primarily uses Palmer diversified chiropractic, based around structure and function with manual manipulation. He also offers the drop technique as an alternative method upon request. Most treatments include a combination of mechanical traction using a Leander flexion/distraction table, myofascial release, heat/ice therapy, and therapeutic exercises.
Dr. Stevenson and his wife, Liani have two young daughters that keep him very busy when not in the office!
